I've always heard of using quikcrete in a 5gallon bucket with the tree standing up in it.
Thats what I did in our pond. Didn't take but a few years to have a standing forest there that you could drop a line right in the middle of it safely. As long as it's standing, you don't get nearly as many hang ups.

Hwy 41 is one side, the one closer to Hwy24 & 59. The other side, where I live, is Suck Creek (hwy27), River Canyon/Mullins Cove. And yes, somedays it's extremely clear. My rottie mix just stares at the fish and would stay there till dark if I let him But if you want a clear body of water, try Norris Lake just north of Knoxville It's absolutely beautiful

I made these last weekend.
I made a bunch last year for our fishing camp and plan to make some more this year. Haven't got to fish them yet though.

I always say I will and never do. I would never be able to make up my mind where to put them.

We need to make some up and put them in the Creek. Slip out one night and drop them

should be easy to find some good places around the creek/road bed. I hate when I want to fish the bridges and someone is camped out on them.

I knew someone would bite on that one.
