Noel Ellis: I'm sure it's been discussed before, but tell me about him

I've heard he has an attitude, but that's all to be taken with a grain of salt. If I had to guess, he either hasn't come to camp, or the coaches didn't like what they saw at camp. No facts here, just hunches.

5'9 170 with only decent speed. He's a grinder that understands the concept of coverage and does well when the lights are on. Good coverage guy in a less than ideal package. Solid athlete as well.

He loves LSU and really wanted an offer(still does if you ask me) but was told to camp for it. He got upset and feels shunned so he asked to be removed from all the LSU lists. That's where the attitude stuff comes from. Not that bad imo. He's a kid and all of us have been kids before and knows how sensitive their feelings can be.

I like Ellis but all 4 instate kids above him on the board(White,Brazil,Jefferson and Woods) have better natural talent and more ideal measurables. It happens. He'll land nicely somewhere.

I think he ends up at Auburn.
