Haha perfect example of how baseball isn't won by stats. I actually enjoyed the game yesterday it was a fun game to be at. Of course after a win I see 10 threads bitching about hitting and after a loss with 10 hits and 1 run I see virtually nothing.

I'm glad you called out the haters, but I see their point. People are just too dramatic. Do we need more offensive production, absolutely...does the W the only thing that matters, absolutely x 100000.

I agree.
But we aren't going to win many Sunday games with the kind of hitting we got this weekend.
Even Saturday games.
We're probably going to be very hard to beat on Fridays no matter what though.

Disagree on McCune.
Nola pitched like most freshmen, good and bad moments. Alot like Gausman last year, let one inning ruin it for him.

I thought this same thing after the game. People upset because of lack of hits after 2 wins over Miss.St, then we get hits and lose. So I hope this thread shuts up some people when they get on here and complain about this and that after a win.

Judging an offense on hits is ridiculous. You judge an offense on RUNS. Runs were scored on Saturday due to walks as well. Those still count.

I still tend to agree, but we need to take more walks. We have even less power than I expected. We may not even slug .400 as a team for the year.
