...quality pitching. Thank God State's worse, at least with so many starters out. We're gonna struggle from here on out at the plate.

It's baseball. Good pitching will always shut down good hitting. It's been that way since the beginning of time. Also, the hardest thing to do in sports is hit a round ball with a round bat.

Can't tell if we don't swing the bat first. I lost count on how many strikeouts we had looking.

He's starts at DH against righties, but can't handle the southpaw.

Time after time, threads like this are made with many posters in agreement and time after time, said posters are made out to look like fools. One would think it would be a learning experience

I understand that we haven't hit quality pitching well and we will see better pitching than this but is anyone surprised? I mean we knew when the season started that we would have to rely on pitching. I don't see our hitting performances as any indication of how we'll do the rest of the season because I didn't expect us to hit much. If we can scratch a few across on Fridays and Saturday's we win if are pitchers stay this consistent.

This. Florida was the only team on Friday that scored more than 4 runs.
