On espn they dont have the numbers yet but they did say he was going to be the highest paid defensive player.

Unfortunately, I wish Atlanta was even IN the friggin discussion. Word out of Atlanta is - is that we didn't even talk with him after we caught wind of what he was asking for.

I hear it on the radio every day here. Some fans understand they didn't have the money to sign Williams, others talk nonsense about cutting 4-5 players to make room for him
Honestly though, you KNEW he wanted to be highest paid defensive player and you couldn't afford him. Why waste everyone's time? It's not like he was going to change his mind.
