4. Dumbass Cajun-His draft was the only one that stacked up with 31's. I feel that his first 14 picks will be assets. That's pretty damn good ratio. His keepers were solid. If Howard comes back to strength, should be a playoff team.

LE. I just didn't need much hitting. I think butler was a steal, same with Joyce. Rasmus I think can breakout.
how many hitters are active?
I mean you kept 6 hitters. Utley is bound to be injured. Hosmer and Santana have hit in the MLB, but how big of a step will they take?
at this point im guessing you start Butler, Rasmus, and Joyce? or Austin Jackson?
Joyce was an all star last year, but just fell off in the 2nd half when pitchers figured him out.
If those are your starters, who is on your bench? Do yall set daily lineups? Not that a bench is uber important...But its god to have competent guys to throw in there on off days. I just think your hitting kind of tails off at the end there in your starting lineup. Too much reliability on Rasmus and Joyce. Butlers production is great for a top tier middle infielder, but for a 1st baseman, just middle of the pack. just my opinion.

I'm glad to see that you think they have the potential to be boom. Because I started with the worst pitching staff prior to the draft. I love the closers I grabbed.
when i say "bust", im not talking about like 5.00 ERAs. They should all get decent Ks, but i wouldnt be surprised to see ERAs getting up near 4.00 But they could be really good

I didn't keep a 2B or SS and didn't have a 5th or 6th pick, needed to get those spots filled quickly.
I wasn't expecting to be 11th though, thought I drafted okay with what I had to work with

We have 9 active hitters...
I went in only needing to fill 2 OF and a C. Probably why I mindfricked myself into all the pitching

You need to reach to fill positions does not constitute an emergency on my part.

i love that I was 2nd in the keepers rankings, added 4 Top 50 pitchers. filled the 2 positions i didnt keep with a top 10 SS and top 15 catcher and frickin plummet 8 spots......
Look, I really liked your keepers, but a #2 ranking is due to being top heavy. You have 2 top 10 hitters and the #1 pitcher from last year. They round out nicely, but there are some question marks there.
You absolutely ignored hitting in the draft. Just hard to ignore. You can't expect your keepers to do everything , can you? You pulled good arms from the pitching side, but at the expense of your hitting. I would have felt safe after Romero pick to start and add some hitting. Morrow is nice if he can harness his control. Luebke was just overkill for a guy that pitched over his minor league #'s.
Just my opinion. Not the gospel. Trades happen, free agent pickups happen, injuries happen. Who knows.

I thought he might have been seriously-ing my mediocre team.

It's good. Escobar can hit, and drives in runs too. He is in a damn good lineup too. Good steal. I think in his 2nd full season in toronto he breaks out.

That kind of changes things.... but still see some deficiencies in those teams i mentioned.

Luebke was a huge reach.
I would have taken this dude in the 2nd round if i had a pick. Actually considered him over morrow in the 3rd.
A Petco park pitcher with a k/9 around 9, yes please

Teixeria OTB for anyone wanting a 1B

considering he has been a AAAA pitcher for a few years now...and his K:9 in anything AA and above is 7.0
he's not bad, but he's not as good as he was last year. ERA will go up. K:9 will go down.

why load up my offensive bench when there still plenty of starters. if anything I should have grabbed some closers but I had about 30 picks between the morrow pick and my next pick and missed out on about 3 closer runs.
