Nola was lights out tonight. If he keeps it up, I'm sure he will be in the weekend rotation soon. Hats off to that kid.

Just got in from the game and needless to say.... Nola was outstanding. Unbelievable command of his fastball and once the slider started to settle in around the 4th, he was lights out. My first time seeing him live and the comparisons to Coleman are spot on. Very impressive tonight. Looking forward to seeing him next again on Monday against the Irish.

There is no caveat to his performance tonight. He gave up 3 hits over 8 innings and only threw 78 pitches. That's the very definition of dominance. no if, ands, or buts needed

Kid average a little over 3 pitches per out.
