The only time in four years that I have ever thought that Trent may be on his way out is after the South Alabama game this year. But then LSU showed signs of life. These last 3 games are bad enough that if Alleva made a move, I couldn't argue.

I honestly like trent.....its just not clicking. One thing I will.say.....frick people who don't go that complain...same people swore they would show up when Brady was fired but.didn't show up during a great sec run the next year.

Alleva will not release him because Alleva picked him.

Does a young Dale Brown exist?

Alleva just put Wojo on speed dial. No way Trent can hold onto his job after these last games. No way. Team is sloppy and has no clue what an offense is.

I am in agreement here. TJ seems to be a good guy and I do believe he is a good coach, but its just not working. IMO what LSU needs is a young Dale Brown type. Someone who will sell the program and what LSU basketball can be. Dale Brown did this literally cris crossing the state handing out purple and gold basketball nets. The story goes that he would see a hoop in a yard and would stop and knock on the door, introduce himself and give them a net. Not saying that the coach needs to do that, but he needs to bring attention to the program in a positive way. Get ppl curious in the team again. The ppl that say LSU fans don't care couldn't be more wrong. LSU fans have just become appathetic because the team has been bad for so long except for a rare good year.

There's choking levels of negativity surrounding football with our dumbass fans, and we played in the god damn national championship game a few months ago.

There are reasons to get rid of Trent but that isn't one. Hell we'd never keep a coach more than a year with our drooling retard fanbase.

The numbers don't lie. We had a chance to recover the season with the last four games against weaker teams, supposedly. We laid a 1-3 rotten egg.

If we knew the day we hired TJ that we'd be staring at three straight years of staying home in March (in year four), would we have hired him? I doubt it.

It's time to move on, admit mistakes, and give TJ a hell of a severance package. No reason to be mad at TJ, I'd have taken the job, too.

If we can't afford the buyout, then cut the pay of the other glorified PE teachers over there. With the economy as it is, they should all take a pay cut, but I digress.

Regarding Alleva, I'd bet the fans would be more forgiving for pulling the trigger now, than suffering through another disappointing season.

We're a sleeping giant with the right person. No doubt in my mind.

I have argued and argued all season for everyone to keep a cool head, let the season play out and see where we stand at that time. I have said since the end of last season that I thought Trent needed to go 8-8 in the SEC this season, at minimum, to keep his job.

The regular season is over and his SEC record is 7-9, including an 0-3 record to close out the season.

I can now support the firing of Trent Johnson.

I thought we were turning the corner but these last 3 have been terrible. I'm in on the Gregg Marshall campaign.
