People on this board wanting to know what JJ's wonderlic score is so badly...joking that it'll be negative.
Doesn't that smack of racism...just a little bit?

Maybe, I couldn't really give a frick what JJ wonderlic is.

Oh, I know Miles felt JJ gave him the best chance to win but with the play on the field, I just don't see it.

Probably because you were not at practice every day and saw what the coaches saw.

I personally liked the offense under JL more than with JJ. But I understand the coaches get to see about a million times more than I do and choose the starter based on their info.

I will accept that.

I still would have taken Mett over both of them to start the season.

Again, just my opinion.

Correction: These were the scores posted by the NFL on Jordan Jefferson before the combine. When we get final scores, we'll update.

That took away a lot of creeps' joy.

I know race can play a part, however, look back Faulk, Dorsey, Webster, TM7, Clayton, Reed, among other are all black and LSU fans LOVE them. So I think the race card can get played out at times. You have some of same people that other posters call "racist" praising other black athletes. Leads me to believe they just hate JJ and blame him

Well, yeah, I wouldn't expect the racism to be obvious.
It can't be nowadays.
And it certainly can't be on this message board (Rummy sees to that).
I'd expect it to be subtle...and only directed towards black players that already bother them.

I fully admit that JJ brought on plenty of criticism with his own actions.
I'm just saying that doesn't explain 100% of the hate.
And hate really is the right word.

I agree with you that the race card is totally played out.
I'm usually the one to say "that's not racism, grow up."
But damn, this is a different case.

I think people just literally hate him.... LSU fans got spoiled with Flynn/Russel. The hate they had for Lee in 08 then went to Jefferson. People forget that near end of 08 some of same people that hate him now wanted him to play. Many fans feel he cost LSU games by his inability to stretch a field, whether right or wron in that assumption, the quotes people read only fuel the flame. I think we have a few who are really racist about it but majority just really hate him, like want to fight him hate.

Pick one QB to play a championship with, ...Flynn. Period.

What? Flynn was not a great qb at LSU. He was avg. 4 ints vs Bama. He sucked against Kentucky an Arkansas. Against Kentucky Hos compl% was LESS than 50 %. It's amazing how he is seen as this great qb while at LSU.

I am going to exit this thread before I go insane but just remember Les brought JJ back to starter over an undefeated QB that had a very successful season going.

Look I wanted Lee to remain the starter as well but successful? Lee threw for 170 only twice an had shitty game against Oregon and Kentucky. Lee wasn't lighting the world on fire. Posters need to realize that. Lee wasn't throwing all per the field.

And I am saying is I would have taken Mett over both of them.

Three years of sub par to piss poor QB play was enough to realize a change at QB was needed....it wasn't.

The past is the past.

I've been looking forward to a new era at QB for three years.

I agree Flynn was better than JJ after 09 a thread was started with numbers from both qb's without names next to numbers as JJ looked better in most except Tds. Spare me the sacks shite. He had 8 more sacks than Flynn. Again Flynn was better than JJ. But it was closer than most want I admit

This is true, but what he was doing was getting his playmakers involved in the game. Randle and OBJ were both much more effective when Lee was playing. Just like a good point guard doesn't have to score 30 points to be effective, a good QB can be effective without putting up big numbers. Once JJ was inserted into the starters role, our WRs basically disappeared from the games.

I wanted Lee to remain starter , but before the SECCG JJ was playing well in the passing game. He had 200 yards against Ark and out gained the whole Arky team in rushing on one play.

Awwww you seem a bit angry and even came up with a clever little nickname.... I guess we can't all be cool kids like you who try to act bad on a message board. I mean the name calling is just a sign of ignorance really.
