Les can't develope players - it's his assistants that are doing their jobs. If it weren't for his good assistant coaches we would have a problem. I've talked to people from Oklahoma State - they told me the best thing that ever happen to them was Les Miles leaving.

That didn't take long.

Even if this nonsense was true, tell me genius, who hired those assistant coaches?

your first post

When Ryan Perrilloux starts next year everyone will be wondering why he wasn't the quarterback this year. Perrilloux will make the pros, but Flynn won't - he doesn't have the arm and is still making a lot of mistakes for a fifth year senior....

You do realize he was an OL coach in the NFL and an assistant for many years prior?

Yea, good thing they were all here when he arrived.

Sour grapes. Miles instilled the respectability for OSU to begin competing for recruits with OU. He laid the foundation for what they now have by beating OU multiple times in his stay there.

I take it you never played football at the next level. The assistants are given the chore for player development. That is why you have an offensive line coach, wr &te coach, QB coach, def.backs coach defensive line coach, LB coach...not to mention the coordinators. The head coach is to manage all of this.

Please don't show your ignorance on this board again.

Well no shite!! This is brilliant frickin reasoning and glad you are around to figure this out for the rest of us. What kind of problem do you think Saban would have if you and I were his assistants?

I've talked to people at Oklahoma State who said that Les Miles leaving was the worst thing that ever happened to them.

See how easy that was?
