My mother in law supposedly has the ability to get invoice pricing on Chevy vehicles. She says she gets some code from work and the dealer has to honor the invoice pricing plus all current rebates and discounts being offered. If all this is true, would I even have any negotiating to do? Or do show up and buy the car?

A friend of mine gets invoice pricing as well, his brother works at the ford plant in Michigan.

He gets the code, goes in and negotiates a decent deal, then at the end of it says "oh btw I have this code..."

The salesman usually gets mad bc it was a total waste of time for him.
