I went on to buy tickets for Saturdays game and all that was available was standing room. Has anyone ever done this? If so, is there a designated area? TIA

the standing room only area is the best view in the house.

Actually not bad. Standing areas are in the conures in the grand stand inthe outfield corners and in a couple of the ramps on the baselines. The grand stand is a great place to watch a game if u don't mind standing for three hours

Correct. The view from the concourse is really good.

The only time i've done SRO is for a regional game in '09. The SRO area was packed and I could still see well. Should be good

I have never done it personally because I am fortunate to have good season tickets, but I know where the SRO area is and the view is great. I would not want to stand for a whole game, but I have done it before on the road. For these early games I'd guess many SROs could find seats in the grandstand after a couple of innings.

Would you happen to know where students sit? I've been to many LSU baseball games but never as a student.

the view was a very good one but I got real tired real quick of standing. of course I have knee problems so that didn't help ... kept waiting for seats to open up but they really didn't. Think this was for the CSF series last year.

FYI, there are tickets for sale on the ticketexchange on lsusports.net

but for this Saturday's game I'd think that you could move down pretty easily to empty seats.
