Could getting the 4 seed/1st round bye hurt LSU?

If LSU gets the 4 seed they would have a day off but likely face Tenn or Miss St (potentially 0 wins in NOLA) vs getting the 5/6 seed and a much better shot at 1 win in NOLA vs USC or UGA? With this team needing all the wins it can get the 5 seed may be more beneficial.

No because the 5 seed would likely mean we lose one of the next 3 which really would hurt us

If we go 9-7 & still get the 4, it could definitely hurt. But I don't think we make the tourney regardless unless we go 10-6.

Another win over Georgia or USC won't help, anyway.

We want the 4 seed. We want our shot at Kentucky.

Or Bama. We need our Supderdome revenge on those teabagging, tree killing a-holes.

I think we want Vandy to lose and hope we get the 3 seed. Vandy needs to lose out (@Uk, UF, @UT) and that's not impossible.

We are not looking good either way. Win out to go 10-6 get the 4 seed and we are opposite of UK so even if we win our first game we get butt raped in game 2 which probably won't be enough to get us in the tournament. Lose 1 game to close out to go 9-7 and get the 5 seed means we probably need to win 3 to make it in the NCAAT and the chances of that happening are also slim.

We would be in so much better shape had we not dropped those patsy games to Coastal Carolina and South Alabama
