Looking at my next rod purchase- I think I have narrowed it down to either the Falcon Coastal or the Falcon BuCoo. I have never owned a split grip rod before, but am willing to give it a shot if it's a popular choice. I currently have a Falcon HD. Anyone have some input or suggestions?
Thanks!

I have had a coastal for a little over a year now without a complaint. Not a big fan of the split grips, but to each his own. I have the wade fisher version of the Coastal (medium action 6'6"). Looks great on the water as well! I have it paired with a curado that I use in freshwater also and actually caught one of my biggest bass ever this past weekend using that rod/reel combo.

Eta: I have the casting rod.

Depends on what you're using it for. I rather a cork handle though almost all the time. I like split grips for some things, like worms, spinnerbaits, and such, but things like frogs or anthing I'm chunking really long distances I like a full grip to cast with 2 hands. Also, the actions the Coastals come in are more suited for saltwater for the most part, but there are a lot that would be great for bass. As far as quality, I wouldn't be surprised if they're the same blank, they're pretty much the same weight and feel similar. What size/action you looking to get?

I've got nothing but Originals for both casting and spinning set up. 7' casting med, 6' 6" spinning med.

I will be using it for saltwater- mainly Delacroix inshore, specs, reds, etc. I will be getting 7' medium.

Great, thanks for the advice. I will probably go with the Coastal, as I was already leaning towards that. I work downtown and love Professional Sports. They are friendly and you're right about their prices!

I love my coastals. Had a few fish I feared would snap them but they haven't snapped yet.
