Nothing quite like going by the taxidermist to pick up your nearly 130-class bow kill and having to walk by this on the way! LOL

23 point Ohio bow kill (depending on who's looking! :) )

Taxidermists should have two rooms... the normal Southern deer room and the guys who went to Canada/The Midwest.

I'd pass on that one, I don't shoot non-typical bucks

Why does that huge buck look scared! Not a very good mount IMO, how was yours?

when I dropped off my 135, the guy had a couple 180s and several 150-160s. Big deer.

No matter how good I felt about a deer when dropping one off at the taxidermist I have always felt much more humble when leaving.

I felt a little better knowing that the 180s and a few of the other big ones were high fence texas deer and my 3 were free range ms deer.

even still,.....they were big arse deer. not typical texas skinny body, pencil antlers. Huge everywhere

The muscles in his neck aren't right. Looks like he's straining to take a shite. Most sneaks that I've seen didn't have such defined muscles. Other then that, the deer's face just doesn't look "natural". It looks "strained". Like someone was trying to make it look real. A good mount doesn't look like anyone's trying to make it look like it's doing anything.
