it's called jumping on the bandwagon-what NOLA does best.

or... how about... Tulane football hasn't been any good for so long that there are now several generations of new true LSU fans in NOLA... since LSU is the only local college football team to easily see... whether it's catching highlights... or catch the game live on tv or radio

I wish there had been 26 floats just like this. I love anything that makes the rednecks mad.

I stopped into the Varsity a few years ago before one of the big games. One of the ESPN guys was on the big screen and he did not say all the best things about LSU. Some 50 year old loser standing next to me went nuts about it. He had his coaching shorts on and socks up to his knees and he was pissed off that the ESPN guy did not worship LSU that day.

Get a life. The float is a joke. Have fun.

Seriously doubt these are LSU fans. A lot of people in the New Orleans area hate LSU
bull shite....most people here love the tigers and there are over 20,000 season tickets holders from the new orleans metro area.

You didn't win a division or a conference yet got voted in to play in a game. It's mythical just like unicorns.

I find it hilarious. I don't know why people's feelings are getting hurt. Les brought it on himself by shitting the bed in the biggest game of his career thus far. Saban and that nasty D made that arse quit.

It's incredibly ridiculous that winning the West & SEC is overshadowed by losing the NC game to a team that you already beat in their own stadium 2 months prior. Some of our fans piss me the frick off.

you should be pissed off...at the coach , for surrendering.

you keep trying to ignore this and hide behind the other successes that we all agree were great,
but that does not erase the blunder, as much as you want it to.

Did that float break down and give up 3/4 through the route?

It's a shame that Bama and LSU couldn't have both played(if they were going to play twice)in the SEC championship game, and the winner of that game have played in the national championship game. That way everyone could have been happy and felt like things were done fairly, because it's not unheard of for teams in the SEC to play each other in the regular season and then again in the SEC championship game. Also the winner of that game could have played Oklahoma State and shut them up, so we wouldn't have to hear "what should have been".
I love that Bama won, but I do understand why LSU fans feel the way that they do, and I'm sure that we would have felt the same, if the roles were reversed.

Incorrect. It was Krewe D'état. All their floats every year are satirical.
