We hit for a pretty good average each year but my problem is with the number of strikeouts and our approach at the plate.

I do not have the numbers but it just seems that we have struck out alot the last few years.

It seems to me that the guys go up to the plate with the same approach no matter the situation. Sure I want to see guys drive the ball but sometimes you need to shorten your stroke and just put the ball in play. Seems like he go up to the plate looking to kill the ball all the time.

As for a 3rd base coach he has made some bad calls. But most of the time I like to make the other to make a play. If we get thrown out so be it. Aggressive is good in most situations.

With that said I am not a big Javi fan, but it looks like CPM is sticking with his guy.

2009 -- 495 73 games = 6.7 per game

2010 -- 408 63 games = 6.4 per game

2011 -- 335 56 games = 5.9 per game
