We scheduled a great team early on last year and it really didn't do much for us with the selection committee. And I doubt we would've scheduled more than 1 this year anyway. It will all come down to how we do in conference, like it did last year. Gotta win at least half of them.

Agreed. The selection committee just had to point to something to justify us not getting in last year.

I have said it for years now and will continue to say it. As an ex player and coach myself- will Davis and javy sanchez have no business coaching at a place like LSU.

I had never heard of Purple & Gold Radio, and I looked all over for the interview. Was it this one, on Tiger Rag Radio?

Click link, then there's another link at the bottom that takes you to the audio

I disagree. PM took the blame for overreacting to the bat changes. The guy takes ALL the blame.

Correct. Huge fail to say otherwise.

Sanchez doesn't deserve to learn how to be a coach at LSU like he has from the onset. LSU doesnt deserve that. The guy has been an absolute clown. He is PM's buddy, basically what it boils down to. Under-qualified from the get go. As far as last years numbers, they were heavily skewed by one player: Mahtook. From beginning of the season until the end, he and Ryhmes were the only consistent bats year long. I feel like half of our hitters got worse(Hanover, Nola, Edward, Watkins.

Let the season play out, but the guy has the potential to be Mainieri's baseball version of Lou Tepper. He should have been replaced after last season, as was Groh. So now, he needs to effectively, efficiently and productively coach up the hitters and base runners or it's "Adios Amigo" after the season.

He is still a waste of a coaching position.
