So what is it a pizza/Italian joInt?

I know forever there was a sign that said pie works coming soon.

Pizza and subs I believe. I live really close. So I hope it is a place that I can walk to, eat, and get drunk there on the weekends.

Humm might have to try this for lunch. Do they sell beer? I think part of the reason pie works went away is because they couldn't sell alcohol.... It was some kind of make your own pizza drink wine kind of place I think....

Walk to churchills can't wait for this response.

You know...overpriced,standoffish service, and no customization. I really do want to try it though.

I finally ate here tonight. I found the staff to be very disorganized. However, I can overlook that as they have just opened. But the pizza was mediocre and overpriced, they have yet to obtain a liquor license, the sitting is tight, and the chef (Papa Della I suppose) kept yelling at the wait staff. Maybe yelling so the entire venue can hear you is part of the New York charm, but when I have had a busy day it is one of the last things I want to be a part of. Plus a beer would have been nice.

I thought the pizza reminded me of the pizzerias I grew up on in the northeast. I really liked the pizza I got, and it was cheaper than most places that all seem to be going to a $20 large.

They have major service issues though. Extremely disorganized, and I know they're new, but no one seems to have a clue. Hopefully they get that figured out because they do have good pizza if you're into a true NY style slice.
