I don't understand any top recruit wanting to go to a&m. It's like they can't wait to wear poo brown uniforms and be on a completely average team. What do they tell recruits " you'll be part of the class that gets us back on the map ". The only thing that helps them is that they are in Texas and next to louisiana and there are so many recruits that Texas, LSU, and OU can't scholly everyone

A lot of TX kids want to stay close to home and be within the state borders. Now TAMU gives them that opportunity while playing in the best conference in CFB. This will be at the expense of the Longhorns and Sooners. LSU and Arkansas will benefit from extra exposure in TX.
