Classic staring Dean, Hudson, and Taylor. One of Hopper's earlier roles and even Rod Taylor shows up.

They had The Southerner on earlier this morning. Sucks for those all those people canceling their cable...

They have Meet me in Las Vegas on next, the movie itself is merely serviceable(though I kinda enjoyed it)but I'm really fond of the dance number at the end, Frankie and Johnny sung by Sammy Davis Jr.
And The Ox-Bow Incident coming on later this evening, one of the best 40s westerns.

Then Close Encounters tonight. The Big Sky, Cat Ballou, and Pride of the Yankees on early in the morning. I freaking love 31 Days of Oscar. I look forward to it every year. Thing about this year though all the big epics are on later in the month.

Awhile back I had such a big backlog of TCM movies on my dvr I started only recording ones I haven't seen before. I think I have like 11 left now before I catch up.

Same here. Especially this past summer when they were showing the old Tarzan films every Saturday. Right now I just have Around the World in 80 Days and Treasure of the Sierra Madre. I also mad sure to save my Legend of Greystoke from last year. Great one as Christopher Lambert as Tarzan, and the only one to come close to the novel.

I will once Giant goes off. Never miss a chance to watch Giant. Love me some young Liz. Granted I might be to young to be saying that

Oh not at all young Liz was a hottie. Loved in her A Place in the Sun.

Please tell me he actually plays a badass in Giant because Dean's character in Rebel without a Cause was a massive disappointment to me after hearing for years how "cool" he was.

Suddenly Last Summer as well. Some crazy Liz. Plus also a big T. Williams fan.

man i love this movie.
i love movies with greed involved.
PTA watched this movie every night before filming TWBB.
it came on the other night and turned it right on when walter hudson's character starts dancing.
that dance was cool.
he won the oscar and was very deserving.

It's great I love Bogart's paranoid reasoning, my favorite performance of his.
I love his maniacal laughter while he does it too.

Yeah those are good I haven't seen The Guns of Navarone yet.
We should start a TCM schedule thread, keep it updated on a weekly basis.
