They're baaaack!

The media is talking up USC again already replacing LSU at #1 according to Schlbach's way too early predictions.

Looks like LSU's poor showing in the NC game is having far reaching effects, from recruiting to media perception. I think it won't go away until we take the field again and show them how talented our team really is. We'll probably have to deal with this perception until the fall.

LOL. Cry some more you pansies.

This is great.

You morons honestly think ESPN wasn't going to put USC on top of the world as soon as they were bowl eligible.

Ya'll are the most gullible idiots to walk the earth. I love it.

I hope you are miserable every day of your life because of what ESPN says about LSU.

I would rather to start out at number 3. If the Tigers meet USC in BCS championship game, it will be a dream come true to see the MAGNUMS get beat down.

I laughed.

The standards that some people on this board have are hilarious. Not preseason #1? That's unacceptable.

Fair weather fans are unbearable.

What i would like to know is if they are going to give LSU a rematch vs. Bama if they lose by 3 in TS this year.

I seriously doubt it.

That's a tad dramatic

Doesn't matter what LSU would have done in the NC game, win or lose, USC would be preseason #1 according to ESPN.

News? Perception? It's amazing that out of 120 teams the Media will still take turns between pumping USC, theOSU, and Bama. LSU and Oregon are still trying to knock out the limping Big12 programs Texas and Oklahoma from the next tier. Given recent Big12 W/L records it appears to take a long time to move the needle.

On 1/9 LSU lost a shot at separating themselves, if only temporarily, from the rest of the second tier teams in the FBS hierarchy. We were building strong (positive) media attention all year until the stumble. The good news is we get another shot to earn a reputation as a consistent winner this year.

So basically he found the differentitors in moving LSU from 1 to 3 is the freshman class? Somehow I don't see it going down like that.

I sure would like to see how Bama's defense could handle West Virginia's offense.
