7 for happiness with how things ended up. Davis was my favorite commit
8 for a grade based on who we got. We filled every need we set out to fill at the start of the cycle. We got some very talented kids with very high upsides. If 10-12 of the kids in the class are good contributors then we had a successful class.
QB-C+ I like Liggins but felt we needed 2 and was hoping for a more polished, college ready passer.
RB-A we didn't need one and still landed a top 10 back in the class. Hill is top notch
WR-B Needed numbers and talent and overall we did well. Will be really special if the coaches can convince Avery to fulfill his talent. Dural will be a good wr. Holmes is pure gravy
TE-A. Thomas is a stud whether he makes it in this year or next. He's a gamechanging type talent at TE. Gordon is a prototype LSU TE
OL- B+ All 3 guys have high potential and great size. Hawkins is the guy to watch. If he develops as expected, lookout
DE-B+ Not a huge need and we got a stud. Hunter has 1st round talent.
LB-A+ Just a monster group imo. Louis has excellent potential. Jones is very good and I think at minimum will be Bakeresque on special teams. Feist needs coaching but has the tools. If Phillips can translate his talent to LB then he can be top notch. I just question if he can. Granier is a solid guy. Alexander is the gem talent wise. If he fully recovers from the knee, he is the best talent of the LB group.
CB-A. Mills has size and athleticism. I like what he has to work with. Thomas is one of those guys that just gets how to play the position. Solid athlete and talent but his instincts and skill are what make him good. Good size as well. Raymond is a special talent. Big time speed and a great athlete. Also has very good size potential. Has a lot of natural talent as a cover guy. Wait until Cooper teaches him proper technique and th correct reads to make. Claiborne part 2 imo.
S-B Sandolph has potential and is a pretty damn good athlete but i am not as sold as others are. Thompson is the prize. He could be special. Smart, athletic, fast and a worker. Eric Reid in a better athletic package sounds like a winner to me.
