I used some brown malt to pull out some more of the nutty flavor. But my praline was a brown ale not a dubbel. I did kinda wonder if I could have ground the pecan up a little and used it in the mash.

I'm still doing extract at home, but I did some steeping on that one and thought about adding ground pecan to the grain bill. I have all the ingredient to run another batch so that might be something I consider.
