I found that the beer racked on the pecans did very little in the end. Pecan Extract worked wonders though especially in aroma. Over time my praline beer slowly lost the aroma though which was sad because around 3 months it was silky smooth.

Noted. Just trying things out... the first batch I did a pound of pecans in the full boil. I didn't find that it had as much pecan flavor as I would like, especially on the nose, so I added another half pound at the 5-minute mark and then about a quarter pound to secondary. Was supposed to be another half pound, but the bag ripped and whoops...
