Have the writers given up on adding depth to Chris Griffin? The last meaningful plot with him was way back when he married the 14 year old tribal girl

Theyve kinda set the depth for all the characters at this point

I would like to see them age all the characters to see what they could do with it

I would try to defend it but tonight's episode is surprisingly dry.

If you aren't watching Archer, you should give it a shot. I'll take Archer over my favorite Family Guy episodes.

I love family guy but chris is the worst. He contributes nothing to the show and every time he makes a joke I never laugh. I honestly feel like McFarland is just letting Seth green write his own jokes because he feels bad for him but he is terrible

Family Guys not what it used to be but it still has a moment or two each episode that make me burst out laughing

I can laugh for hours with some friends talking about FG quotes over the years

I do think Seth Mcfarlen is getting really bored with the series but doesnt want to end it.

Also Amercan Dad gets better everytime I watch it but it has episodes that make me zone out a bit. I love some episodes (like the one where Stan takes his son to a war re-enactment and when Rodger tries to ruin the life of one of his alter egos) but some I just get bored with

American Dad has been better for about three years now. I still enjoy most Family Guy even though its shallow

Its weird though, its really hard for me to watch the old episodes now because of how horrible the quality is. Especially the first season, I feel like im watching Family giy with the Rugrats drawing it also the jokes are so tame, its weird to watch

I liked the writing from the first 4 seasons. I forgot the guy who was behind a lot of it but when he left, the humor trended more extreme pop culture

this. If I had to get rid of one character it would be Chris.
