someone is guilty of killing a bald eagle recently. i don't think i could find any reason to shoot down an american symbol.

so knowing that it is illegal and knowing you could potentially get away with it... would you kill/injure a bald eagle for sport?

someone did it!! i was just wondering if there is some kind of allure to it.

eta: people kill/injure endangered species all the time. what is the allure to there? i was just trying to understand from a sportsman's perspective. i've gone hunting before, but i don't have the balls to actually kill anything. so technically i just piss off the other hunters in their blinds.

No.

I don't get pissed at people for shooting certain animals. I get pissed at them for taking away something that many people get more enjoyment out of alive than dead. It's selfish and anyone shooting a bald eagle or any wild animal in an area where they are relatively rare needs the shite beat out of him by "concerned" citizens.

me and a buddy were running nets in the mississippi river a few months ago near cat island. we saw two flying around.

we stopped the boat and just sat there and watched them fly. it was awesome like you said.
