How can you tell that the ones you linked are better than the ones I linked just by looking at the pics? Not being a smartass...I legitimately don't see a difference.

Construction, weight, and balance. The high end knives are contructed of a much harder steel and hold an edge longer than the cheaper knives.

You need to handle the knives. Sorta like buying a pistol, it needs to feel right in your hand.

Go to Bed Bath and Beyond and get a clerk to unlock the Wustoff/Henckels display. You will see the difference immediately.
