Sproles
7/28/2011: Signed a four-year, $14 million contract. The deal includes $6 million in guarantees. 2011-2014: Under contract, 2015: Free Agent
PT
3/3/2011: Signed a four-year, $11.2 million contract. The deal contains $4.2 million guaranteed, including a first-year roster bonus of $2.7 million, Thomas' 2011 base salary, and $860,000 of his second-year salary. Annual $100,000 workout bonuses are available in years two through four. Undisclosed salary escalators are also available in the final three years. 2011: $640,000, 2012: $2.16 million, 2013: $2.1 million (+ $300,000 roster bonus), 2014: $2.5 million (+ $300,000 roster bonus), 2015: Free Agent
Ivory
4/27/2010: Signed a three-year, $1.220 million contract. The deal included a $5,000 signing bonus. 2011: $405,000, 2012: $490,000, 2013: Restricted Free Agent
Ingram
7/30/2011: Signed a four-year, $7.41 million contract. The deal is fully guaranteed, including a $3.89 million signing bonus.
Going to be a crowded backfield for sure.

Why wouldn't they?

I don't see why not. No one is breaking the bank. I can see us getting rid of one of them if someone is unhappy with the rotation.

of course , once again with Pierre getting hurt in the beginning of the game and Ingram went on IR it showed once again we cannot have too many Running backs

I'm not on the "we shouldn't have drafted Ingram" bandwagon, but he, without a doubt, would be the first one I would let go.

Making me get another cup o java this morning... shaking my head remembering how bad '10 was. Having to sign multiple guys off the street to start!?! Anyone notice none of those guys are playing anywhere now?
So why not? Sproles and PT23 are similar but still fulfill their roles differently. Ivory & Ingram are more similar but cheap enough. '10 was the learning year for RB depth. There we were in the SF game down to two again. I really like the RB by committee for that reason. Someone like Adrian Peterson is nice but they are wiped out when he goes down. We lose one and keep clicking. Lose two and still function well enough.

He has the most trade value.

that is why you are one of we message board GMs.

Also - you have to factor in that you didn't spend too much for Ingram in terms of $$$. With the new Rookie Salary Wage Scale thingy, no rookie is gonna come in making 10 million a year anymore.
I still think Ingram is gonna be good when it's all said and done. I wouldn't cut bait with him just yet...

I don't wanna get rid of him either, but he is the most logical one to get rid of if you were going that route.

Ivory broke the bank with his lucrative signing bonus.

Not sure why you let go a rookie first rounder who cost little was part of a four man rotation that went to two because of injuries in the playoffs.
I like all four of our RB's NS.
And I think all four are on the team game 1.
If any would go it would Ivory because of a rich offer from another team.

Those of you giving quick YES answers aren't exactly thinking like a GM. I love having 4 RBs that can be productive, but what if we could get a place of need for one of these guys, such as LB?
Ingram will be a stud IMO. Just needs time.

Goat gets it.

It's insulting, considering how much effort Ivory puts out there, that he makes so little. Socialism has been very good to the NFL. It's time to make the pay scale more socialized.

The only one who I think might have a chance at being moved is Ivory, but that would only be (IMO) if another team approached us about him and offered us a great deal. And I really don't see that happening.

for trade value-
Sproles is a particular rare talent/skill set that would be very hard to replace
PT23 is multidimensional but had no interest when a RFA. He's great here but is a role player. 152 carries is the most he has ever had college or pro.
Ivory has the perpetual injury resume. For that reason I wouldn't guess more than 4th Rd draft pick trade value.
Trading Ingram would be a way bad buy high sell low investment. If he turns into a bell cow with 1000+ yards his trade value then might be worth considering. I think that can happen. If it does though, prolly cuz Ivory is done with injury. In that case he's left as the only power back.
