WTF? Baseball is probably the sport he is the most awful at.

I totally disagree. Hawthorne may get some calls wrong in baseball, but he is MUCH MUCH better than any other LSU PBP guy at filling the dead time between pitches and he has MUCH more emotion in his voice than Hanagriff or the other guy (names slips my mind currently).

In fact, I have no idea why all the hate for Hawthorne over the last 5yrs or so. Is the a TD thing? A younger generation thing? I'm only in my early 30's....is this a view point of the 20 somethings? Listen to the Ole Miss PBP guy, he isn't any better.

Yeah, I'm ready for all those, "deep fly ball fielded by the second baseman/shortstop" calls.
