5 turnovers, giving up big plays to VD, and abandoning the run are the reasons we lost this game. The defense kept us in it but couldn't end it for us when we needed them most. I was hoping this game would help me get over the LSU game but it didn't work out. Between Seattle last year and St. Louis and San Francisco this year, I hope we don't play the NFC West anytime soon.

I agree - i wont defend williams at all - but this statement is true - turn it over that many times in a game, your really fricking lucky if you keep it close, much less win.
im dissapointed we lost - but to be in the position we were with how shitty we were early, its easier for me to accept, rather than we get skull dragged and lose by 21.
we lost - williams is gone. everyone calm down, relax and look forward to a new D coordinator and a new season.
last thing i will say - anyone that thought we would win this easy is insane - we played the best defense in football and we kept it close till the end. our D faltered and we lost - it happens.

And all the good that the defense did today was undone by 2 drives with the season on the line and they caved like little bitches. I can't watch this team if Williams is back next year. I'm not putting the emotional investment into this team for 5 months just to watch us get bounced from the playoffs because of captain blitz again.
