Nice article about Lee

Tulsa quarterback G.J. Kinne, also in town for the all-star game, seemingly spoke for many when asked about Lee's role in the title game.
"I'm definitely a Jarrett Lee fan," Kinne said. "I think if they would have put him in, it would have been a different ballgame."
At 6 feet 2 inches and 206 pounds, Lee exudes NFL potential. He completed 104 of 167 passes for 1,306 yards this season despite starting just nine of the Tigers' 13 games. Lee threw for 14 touchdowns and was intercepted three times. In parts of four seasons, Lee - 22 and from Brenham, Texas - threw for 3,949 yards and 32 scores. More importantly, his teams went a combined 41-12.

What a waste by our coaching staff.

I like J Lee. I hope he impresses in that game. However I doubt he ever becomes a legit NFL QB. He is and has always been afraid of contact. His footwork is horrible and his vision of the field leaves alot to be desired.
Yes he should have gotten a shot in the game but instead of ending the popular backup.....he would have been just as much the goat.

your powers of knowing the unknowable are amazing.
do you also have the powerball numbers?
the FACT is that we will never know, because Miles dropped the ball in favor of his boy.

Stars coach Houston Nutt stuck out his hand and rattled off five things he likes about his new quarterback.
"I love his fundamentals, I love his leadership, his intangibles, the management of the game - and he gets the ball out very quick," Nutt said.
That was needed on Monday

WOULD?
who knows and who gives a shite. put the damn water boy and let him throw it. 50-0 is the same as 21-0 if its the damn NC game

Yep.
Even if idiots believed JL would make matters worse, you try him. He's had success this year. But, even if he failed miserably Monday, it's the damned championship game. Margin of loss doesn't matter a wit!! With JJ in, it was DEFINITELY going to be a loss. Hence, when someone says the other guy "probably" wouldn't do any better, THAT is still an improvement on the odds!

RP is to blame for Lee's lack of playing time at LSU...the kid should have never seen the field until 2010. We all know what happened in 2008...
