Some people will never be able to say anything good about the other guy since their infatuation with the other is so strong. This booger flicking will go on for years.
Neither will ever get a meaningful snap in an NFL game, but may be fun watching them try. Don't hate the players for their shortcomings, blame Miles and Crowton.

I agree. Its not right to wish bad on anybody. I don't want JJ or Lee to be unsuccessful in whatever they decide to do. It would be pretty embarrassing to Miles if Lee makes an NFL roster as a QB and JJ doesn't. We will see how it plays out. It's gonna be interesting as much as Miles has favored JJ.

Basically everyone who had strong feelings about one of these guys and backed themselves in a corner over the years.

Both were ruined years ago and Crowtonized. Mettenberger will not have that problem, unless Miles puts the reigns on him. I don't get the hate for either, both tried hard and did their best but neither should have been an exclusive QB. It's all on Miles, not the QB's.

Although I agree with you that Miles' stubbornness made him look idiotic, I don't think Lee's performance in this game will be a referendum on Miles' choices.
No blitzing is allowed in this game, and facing/eluding the pass rush is supposedly the hit that Lee has always taken. Without blitzing there will probably be decent protection, and Lee's biggest weakness will be removed from the game. Expect him to have a big game, but it won't answer all the questions.
