The fact that people were loading up on Bama have people suggesting that the fix was possibly on. Add that to the way LSU played on offense and let the rumors fly.

It's not a rumor that Bama only got 1 penalty called on them...and that was after the score was 21-0

Mayweather won 400K on the halftime bet.

Mayweather always bets like this...nothing unusual here.

Futiak has been saying for a couple of years that this is the next big scandal in college football. Everyone should pray that this game was not fixed. It'll be the end of LSU football as we know it.

granted LSU Bama was the second most popular game to bet on behind the super bowl...

but do big bets like mayweather move the line over a volume of small bets (since i'd assume the public by and large was for us?)

It is also a fact every one of LSU penalties were deserved!

Well...first you are wrong because it was an invalid fair catch signal so that should not have been a penalty.

But...what about the penalty's Bama did not commit. Or, committed but the refs did not call it. There was a clear holding no-call when a Bama lineman put #57 in a choke hold.

So...it's not always about the calls, its also about the "NO CALLS" that manipulate the game just as much.

Not sure about that. All I hear is people say that the smart money moves the line. But everything I have heard from this line movement dealt with extreme volume/money on Bama. I hope to God that this is all crap and I think it is. This would kill LSU. Probation, gut the staff, loss of schollys, no players wanting to come to LSU...etc

No mayweather just bet the half and yes his amount isn't unusual and dint move the line maybe the half line that was -9 Bama may have went down a little.

What was unusal was the Million Dollar Amount Bets that were pouring in before kick-off that drove the line to -3.

Way too much money being wagered for a 400k bet to move the line. Walters and his cronies bet in the millions. And he'll do it at multiple books in order to move a line.

The game was not fixed. Quit making stupid excuses. The team sucked Monday. That was all. The facial expressions of the players was not one of indifference, they were frustrated. If there was a fix, you wouldn't see those types of facial expressions.

I didn't say that there was a fix. I was explaining the RUMOR of a possible fix. I do not think there was one.

Give me a good reason why LSU would run J.C.Copeland, who averaged zero yards per carry on one carry all year, on a crucial 3rd and 3 in the National Championship Game. Why would you not let him lead the way and give it to your tailback if you were going to run the ball?

Even Gerry Dinardo would have not run that play on 3rd and 3.

This is the one play that really made me go full retard in the stands but it also makes no sense being that we had not run this play all season. It was definitely unusual.

the D missed a bunch of suspect tackles, but overall they played well to keep Bama out the end zone until the game was basically over

Oh I get it. Les Miles was point shaving. You know, the guy with millions of dollars. The guy who's reputation is being trashed around the country for his team playing so poorly. I get it. He needed the extra $10,000 for throwing the game.
