This year after 3 games Miles was forgiven for all his sins. After November 5th people actually talked of statues and field naming rights. Today, well we all know what today has been. How long until the emotion is flipped back to full tilt? I say after the November 3rd night contest with the defending national champs is the next time we will get to feel anywhere close to they way we felt on December 3rd. Very early and on paper that looks to set up quite nicely with no JJ or JL in sight and yeah a younger Bama D and No TR3.

The only way Miles makes it through this is if Mettenberger is the real deal and he proves that he can recruit and develop a competent QB. At least for me.

So, maybe the Spring game.

If Mett has a great spring game, I'll be more pissed cause that just shows me he really was the better of the three qbs.

He is , always has been always will be. They should have worked with him since January when he got here. JJ's been here four years and thats what we got last night. Anybody else think Mett doing better than than that with a year of training? 92 total offensive yards?

Rivers should get some quality playing time next year

That why I didn't shoot my tv last night. I'm gonna wait til the spring game. I figure I'll be the most pissed then. I was at the game last year and by what I saw and what was said by the coach, I thought I'd been on an LSD trip and imagined the whole game, including the breeze.

I'll stay mad until he removes every bit of himself from offensive game planning.

Anyone that thinks it isn't possible that our best QB was 3rd string is on something or ignorant.

As a player, this is the second year in a row Mett has been burned by the coaching staff in a championship game. He should have won that final in jr. college but his coach laid an egg.

The second clarinet in the Golden Band would not have done much worse at QB than JJ did last night.

It was tough, but I am ready to move on. We got our arse kicked so fast, that I am more embarassed than hurt.

I think Les will move on, the team will move on, too.

If our sorry arse vocal minority will stop with the bullshite...( and I am not talking about the ones complaining...that's natural, but I hate the ones that start bullshite threads about not wanting JJ's brother, fire Miles, etc.)

This was a deflating loss.

But Miles and Co. got us here. Be proud of 2011, it was a great year.

So, stay hurt for another week or so, then move on.....you'll still be a Tiger Fan even if you don't jump off your roof, tonight.

Nah. All will be forgiven by the end of Sept. 29. LSU will be 5-0 and ESPN will be talking about how LSU will continue the trend of SEC dominance in the BCSNG. They will talk of the upcoming battle against Alabama and hype it as the GAME of REDEMPTION. Just wait, you'll see that I'm right.

It may never be over.

There is a difference between just bad coaching and what Miles did. He combined bad coaching with pure shite treatment of a decent kid.

I don't know about other fans, but for me, the players are LIGHT YEARS ahead of the coaches in importance.

Character matters and Miles demonstrated none.

PURE HYPOTHETICAL: If Mett throws for 356 and 4TDs vs Bama Nov. 3rd. I bet Jarret Lee's "pure shite treatment" will never be thought of again

I'm going to tell you flat out and I mean it. If my kid ends up good enough to recruit, Miles need not even call.

Sure, most fans only give a frick about winning and pay lip service to giving a crap what kind of person their coach is. We make fun of guys like Petrino cause he's such a big prick.

Well guess what. Our guy is a prick of immense proportions. Oh, he's done a great job of PR as the fun whacky guy but what he did to JL this year was the worst treatment I've ever seen of a player.

My kid would not play for that bastard even if he wins his next 100 games.
