Two myths that I am seeing constantly are

1) Bama stacked the line. No they didn't they played quarters all night with two deep safeties and 7 in the box.
2) Jordan didn't have time. Yes he did, he locked onto receivers and didn't throw Wrs open he waited until they got open which led to sacks.
To say that Lee would have stopped them from stacking the box is false because they didn't stack the box in the first place. But to say that Lee would have been a sitting duck is truly false because he would have thrown some people open with his quick release. I saw 3 passes while watching the replay where his accuracy and his quick release was needed. Two to OBJ33 and the last to JL80. UK simply didn't release the ball quick and wasn't accurate enough.

True. They were getting pressure with five all night.

50/50
He had time on some plays, other times the rush was there as soon as his back foot planted.

Agreed. You could see how frustrated Randle was getting as well with his crossing routes when Jefferson would lock onto the deep ball and force into double coverage instead. It was amazing how open Randle was for much of the night. Bama's secondary was not that impressive. Jefferson just fricking sucked.

I want to watch the game again(not really) and focus on the OL. Looked more like JJ shitting his pants than there not being enough time.

1 is true.. although on a couple of plays they did.
2 is almost true.. Late in the game it sorta looked like the line just gave up hoping that Miles would make a change. Almost looked like they didnt want to block for JJ anymore. They laid down.
Early in the game though JJ had a ton of time but never wanted to make a decision. LSU had TEs open all night long.

The lack of game plan and adjustment by Miles and the offensive staff is mind boggling. Although Bama may not have been stacking the box, they were crashing down on every run play. LSU did not do anything to take advantage of the aggressiveness of Bama. No reverses, no screens, no misdirection! There was one option play that I watched when the Bama cb came flying off his man to help stop the option. How about a pass play off an option look? Nope, just bad coaching this game. I look forward to next year's Bama game because I truly believe Miles will have a much better game plan.

JJ had time. If he steps up in the pocket he has more time. There were breakdowns on the O Line last night, but zero pocket presence certainly doesn't help.

WTH were Studrawa, Kragthorpe, and Gonzales doing at the game, playing rock, paper, scissors ??

Nama played one high safety all night. The passes where the, you could see guys running open, but our assclown of a qb cannot make a three step drop and complete a pass. Make no mistake, LSU beat themselves! ;-)
