Losses worse then tonight as a fan

The loss tonight sucked no doubt. Just giving myself some perspective but the 2006 NFC Championship game and game 6 of the WS this past season in particular stung worse.

Tonight stung worse than any Saints loss. 2006 was still awesome because we'd never been to the NFCCG before.

things that can compare to this are
18-0 NE losing the SB
UNLV losing to Duke in the semifinals
(to go waaaay back) Nebraska losing to Miami when Osborne went for 2 instead of talking a tie
which would have given him the NC -- craziest coaching decision ever
All 3 of these teams were being hyped as the greatest of all time

As a Celtics fan the Game 7 loss to the Lakers 2 years ago, after leading for the entire game, sucked pretty badly.
I'm probably a bigger LSU fan than a Celtics fan though, so this one stung worse.

My roommate was a big NE fan and watching that super bowl with him...I saw pain that I don't think could be matched...

2006 Rose Bowl still haunts me

2006 LSU Final Four is the only LSU loss close for me
2005 Tennessee and 2005 UGA were pretty rough football losses, but no where close to tonight

None of these losses have shite on:
Last year's Men's NCAA basketball tournament when the #1 overall seed Pitt Panthers lost to Butler in the second round after missing a potential game winning ft then making a bone-head foul to allow Butler to hit ft's to win the game.
ETA: If you saw the game/highlights, you know what I'm talking about and how much of a shitty way that was to go out.

The Oilers meltdown in Buffalo, I can still remember being 11 and watching that like it was yesterday

Oilers in buffalo.
I was 11 or so as well.
Most traumatic sporting event in my lifetime.
But I'm a '05 grad of Bama.

Usc hanging 70 on us and still throwing bombs with 3 minutes left.

Watching the game tonight brought me back to that game. Both of those games saw Miles and Brady just standing / sitting there looking lost, not bothering to try shuttling personnel or trying different plays.

Try being an Oilers fan in 1993. That shite HURT, I was a kid then and I'm still not over it.

holy shite this loss sucks, but i cant imagine anything being worse than the 18-0 pats losing the super bowl

31 and the worst I have ever felt after a game.
Not really emotionally invested in any other teams like I am my alma mater.
This one sucks... and i know how my Ohio State friend felt in 2006.
