we're talking about kids from our home state, I think we all understand we are better nationally now than in the past, but that's not the point

Yes it is. You're going to bitch and complain about losing La. recruits while replacing them with OOS recruits.

It's even keel. That "fence" bullshite is a myth if LSU can go out nationally and recruit. I don't give a shite where they're from as long as they can compete year in and year out.

I firmly believe if you can't get a couple of instate defensive players when you've won the National Defensive player of the year award two years in a row.

You sky is falling tiger fans are fricking pathetic.
how in the frick did you get the fans being upset over losing the state's top recruit as being the "sky is falling" fans?

just because we say it sucks to lose the kid doesn't mean we think LSU won't still be great the next several years

When we lose a game because we have inferior talent at safety, you let me know.

So Landon Collins is going to be better than any Safety LSU will have in the next 5 years?

Let me know when you find out about the winning lottery numbers. TIA

Let me ask Craig Loston how much playing time those 5-stars earned for him.

Collins is good, no doubt. But this is just ridiculous.

you don't know kirk and davante too well or anything about them.. Kirk went to california after his son left a college in arkansas, because his wife is a traveling nurse and they have an apartment out there also. the kid had 3 herniated disc in his back and gave up football.. i guess you can say yes the injury caused sports not to turn out, young man is about to graduate college......

obviously since neither of us can predict the future, we have to rely on the info we have currently and use that...Landon might be terrible, but there is no reason to believe we aren't missing out on a great one now

He's the number 1 rated prospect in bama. It's kind of hard to judge a qbs performance in an all star game when he's not had many opportunities with his wide outs.

It's not about the stars. My concern is the perception that schools can come and pluck our top talent away. What will the next in-state recruit think? Staying home and representing your state should be their goal, but I know top state recruits leave in any state. LSU foundation is built on retaining in-state recruits.

Not because of inferior talent. Even great players make bad plays.

Works both ways. Do you have a problem plucking top talent from Florida or Texas?

yep, a qb can't look off a safety and make a play. so we get this good qb, he can't make a play on the good safety that went to bama.

Hell no wasn't nothing impressive about that 75 yard TD he threw to that future gump...even worse was the 90 percent completion percentage with the serverly overmatched offensive line. Not good!!! He's horrible
