Is there any way LSU can ask the event folks at the dome to NOT put a P and G pom pom in each seat at the dome?

It has become embarassing to see fully grown men, wave pom poms in the air. It's a Bama thing, anyway.

I am watching the Sugar Bowl Pregame and watching these poor grown men wave these things in the air.

Again, all I can think of is Bama fans that walk around Bryant Denny with those silly things in their back pocket.

It's part of College Football... Just accept it. Don't shake if you don't want to.... But I can say at Bama it was pretty prolific and added to their fans involvement in the game.

Bama fans bring their own to the game.

LSU fans only shake them when they are given out going into the stadium.

I saw tons of LSU fans walking around Tuscaloosa with them before the game on 11/5.

I prefer pom poms when talking about a tool used by Bama fans. Shaker is not embarassing enough.

Pom poms bring this book to mind:

If we let our sons shake pom poms today will their sons look like this tomorrow?

Theyre definitely developing the arrogance but the dumbassery is getting comparable to Auburn standards.
