Look it up on the website if you don't believe me... Why would I make this shite up.

Since I know nobody will actually try to look it up... Here it is in plain English

Fighting Tigers
$5,000 - $9,999 Philanthropic Gift a year
TAF Membership Card
3 TAF Membership Points
Opportunity to attend TAF Football Pre-Game Parties
TAF Window Decal
Tiger Land News email
Annual invite to exclusive tailgate party
2 points per every $1,000 donated
7 bonus points for reaching $5,000 philanthropic level in a calendar year
Example - Total of 20 points for a gift of $5,000

My advice find a friend.with season tickets to request additional season tickets a.d. lay him when they become available. I don't donate any money to TAF it's cheaper to buy tickets at elevated prices than to get into the points cutoff race for post season tickets.

Calm down Francis.... I have read the TAF website many times... I didn't interpret the bonus points the way you have it listed.

If that is their example and it's 20 points... so be it.

Is that correct?

yep -- that's it.

You are on your way.

Make your 2012 Gold Membership donation before 3/31/12 and you'll have 6.2 points before football season..... which will put you WAY down on the list... but you'll be gaining a few points each year and if/when your ability to donate goes up... you'll hopefully get a jump.

Either donate $100 or $5,000.

With $100 you get 0.1 points + 3 bonus points.

With $5,000 you get 5 points + 3 bonus points + 7 bonus points.

Anything in between just gets you 1 point per $1000. There are no other bonus levels.

ETA: this is how it was when I started donating a few years ago. I donated $100 the summer after Katrina and got 4 tickets in the West Uppers that year with 3.1 points. The list is longer now though.

Does anyone know the cutoff number for season tickets this year?

I'm sitting at 7000 so I know I'm not even close, but just wondering how far.

I would like to know this as well. What is the ballpark priority rank to be able to get new season tickets (not a relocation or adding seats to existing account). Based off the last couple years, where do you need to be to have a shot at getting the call?

If you go to LSU, join the collegiate club for $10.00 and get 1 more point.

On a side note, I think alumni should get a one time grant of 5 points.

Damnit! I wish I would have read this yesterday for a reminder. I forgot to donate, again. Won't make a difference, though. Still cheaper to Stubhub tickets.
