The undefeated SEC Champions will showdown against the runner up team in the Western division of the SEC for the National Championship Title and Crystal Ball!!!!!!

How can someone other than a fan of these two teams get up for this?

They can't. Which is why so many people don't care and are complaining about it.

But no of their teams went undefeated and deserved to be there more so....... they need to deal with it.

No one in Raleigh cares, is sad.

Thats why so many people are angry.
It really doesn't make sense.

The TV ratings will be the lowest for any BCS title game ever. SEC haters won't watch to see if the nat'l title streak ends. Fans of other SEC teams won't tune in to see if the streak continues. LSU & Bama don't own any top 40 media markets. The viewership will be weak.

Real football fans know that the best two teams are in this. Bama and LSU would beat the next best team by 21.

Actually, if you give other teams like Okla State or even Wisconsin or Oregon the chance to play for NC, they can do as well or better than Bama.

Uh, it shows how strong the SEC is when even the runner-up from one of it's divisions is still the second best team in the nation. That's my logic and I'm sticking to it.

Because every other potential #2 shite the bed and choked on it coming down the stretch. Now it's time to leave no doubt.

This has nothing to do about pitting the "two best teams against each other"...or "the eye test"...

The rematch has everything to do with money. ESPN pushed for the rematch because they wanted a cut of the kind of cash CBS raked in on Nov 5th. Secondly, ESPN has just inked a broadcasting deal with the SEC. Finally, make no mistake, ESPN is using this match-up as a way of discussing the downfall of the BCS and potentially to use it as a spring-board for playoffs.

It's about MONEY...nothing more nothing less

I am not a fan of this situation at all... but I can see both sides: fairness)- its not fair for other conference champs were passed over for a team that didn't win its conference . The two best teams )- there is little doubt that's Bama is the second best team in the nation and would give LSU the best competition(as supported by the records)
