Well actually, I agree with you that the schedule is weak, but its not out of trying. Nobody wanted to play us including Timmy Byrd, because we were supposed to play them in New Orleans, but he didn't want to play, that's how we got Aug. But its a lot of schools that did not want to play us this year, I felt he should have went back to that sugar bowl tourney but I've been wondering if they were having it cause I haven't seen anything on it yet. But you might have ran over Scotlandville LAST YEAR, but you didn't this year, they beat yall, period. We could say the same for Bossier in 10 and 11, complete different, but I give them their props, they out played us. Now on the Smith thing...no, actually I can't stand Smith as a coach, his assistants are better game managers than he is. Record says otherwise, but its not true. If those assistants were coaching, we wouldn't lose a game. They are a lot less biased and just care about winning, Smith tries to play head games

Yea they beat us and we will take that L. I'm sure we will see y'all in the finals. Y'all ain't gonna be able to play that tackle football yall were playing at Xaiver in them finals. Why do y'all talk so much trash? That ish don't work down here! Y'all better have another tactic come playoff time!

Nobody talking trash. Talking truths. I came across this with our name in it, just thought I'd put in an unbiased Aug/Nola opinion. But we're gonna play just as physical as we did in that game. I don't know why you all think physical play is bad but its what we've been doing for years. But again, when we played you all, we were playing horrible on offense and, while Aug has been struggling and playing flat until recently, we've been scoring and defending a lot better than Aug saw. So Aug might as well get they chinstraps and get ready to go at it if the two meet up again, cause that's just how its gonna happen

I think Peabody should wait and see if they can get by Salmen in the quarterfinals before they start talking their usual bullshite.

Salmen is very good. Very well rounded and as always well coached.

Quote...Unbiased toward Aug/Nola. Me being biased toward my alma mater is not that...correct? But if things go the way they are, I don't think we'd see Salmen in a Quarter this year, I expect them to be a top 3 seed. I think that is the only team outside of us who can compete with Aug. Northside maybe...when Benjamin gets back, but I'd have to see them when that happens before I'd say I'm sure of that. 4A is not as deep as its been. Aug is good, but what I'm saying is, the way they have been playing, they can be beaten and that's true.

That is a true statement and no one can argue with that. Aug is not playing up to their potential this season.

i'd argue 4A basketball is deeper because of St. Aug... this is their first season at this level

Its not as deep even with the addition of Aug...4A lost its defending champ in Bossier who is the best team in 3A this year and lost Glen Oaks, a perennial Quarter/Semifinal school.

Not playing up to our potential and still ranked top 25 nationally... Pretty scary if you ask me... Felix, Victor, & Deion are definitely playing soft... London, RJ, and youngster Blake Jones have filled the void... We are very deep... Our JV squad is actually better!

Well part of you all being top 25 in the country is beating us, that's been a key win in every ranking service for you all that's been going this season. We win that game its just the same for us. If we played a more national schedule, we could win games for sure. I've watched some of those teams in the top 25 play and I know we could beat them, but I also understand that Smith knows what he's doing. Scheduling for power rating, cause he wants that 1 seed in the playoffs and its worked. We've been the 1 seed every year since they started in 08. But its even more important this year because for example...those 2 games we lost at Salmen, in this year's scenario, both of those games would have been in Monroe, that's a good advantage for us. But if you haven't seen us since that game, I'm telling you, right now we've been playing a way better and I'm not saying Aug is not good, or that we are better, but what I'm saying is that if they continue to under perform, we can beat them and Salmen can beat them.

My point is we haven't played up to our potential and are still winning, despite our lackluster performances against 2 other nationally ranked teams... We lost 6 games last year and won the title... If the kids perform as a group and execute they wouldn't care which squads are in the way...

I'm not talking about just against those games against those nationally ranked teams, even against those schools in New Orleans. And yes, you lost 6 games last year and won a weaker class, 5 games in the playoffs in 5A and 4A are two different things, but our kids feel the same way you all's do. We don't care who is we have to go through. I wanna see what happens with the Power Ratings cause with you all playing all of those out of state games, I wonder where you all will end up in the power ratings because those games don't count. I want you all to come here...just cause of the spectacle but I doubt it happens

4A is handsdown deeper than 5A this year IMO.... Even with the loss of Glen Oaks... Some of the teams ranked in the top 10 of 5A right now don't belong...... Also, as far as depth in a particular classification, 2A is really deep as well. A lot of good teams especially in the baton rouge district...... It's crazy to think that Riverside will be a 32 seed in the playoffs because they won't have the minimum 20 in state games..... Feel sorry for the 1 seed......

I agree, its still the deepest class, just not as deep IMO. But its still hands down the deepest.
