Felix plays a lot like Augustin, in my opinion.

Yeah but not as mentally tough as Augustine
But maybe a little better in HS on the ball defender than Augustine

Remember DJ played center for BM in the 5A finals his senior year and lead the team in rebounds that night. DJ was just a winner

Good comparison

Felix is good but fa sho but he's not some special talent that is gonna make Trent kick himself in the arse for not getting. Hickey is a damn good PG. I think its about a wash between the 2. If Felix wants to play Rick fricking Barnes more power to him.

I've never seen Felix Elleshoe, but I really like Hickey.

He has not been as consistent as I'd like but IMHO you can see the kid can play at this level. He steps it up against the better teams.

He held his own against Kentucky super-recruit Teague and you could tell by comments from Cat fans they respect his talents.

We will need someone for PG depth down the line though. Any prospects?

no PGs on the radar I can think of. They need some depth unless they are content with either Turner, Morgan, or Stringer handling it when Hickey needs to come out...

Did Honey Badger play hoops for them in HS?

Hmmm. Stringer has found his niche at 2 and has improved his play in several areas.

But frankly I think he showed last year PG is not his niche. Now he can greatly improve his handles and learn to go left and with his left hand with some hard work and prove me wrong.

I don't think Turner is capable as a point, and don't know enough about Morgan to know if he can play D-1 point.

anyone would only be backing up the PG spot. Turner, Stringer, and Morgan are all SGs by trade

I realize that, but they'd still have to man the spot and should Hickey get injured or in foul trouble or whatever that would be a concern.

It'd be nice to get a PG in this class but I don't see anyone out there right now. Did Felix sign in the early period? If we pull Gathers there may be a chance we can sway Felix...

TM7 did play a little his senior but he couldn't crack the starting lineup so he gave it up. The kid can jump out the gym for his size and he can flush a basketball easy.

hmm rivals doesn't say he signed his LOI... oh well. I'll never get the love out of state kids have for UT. Barnes is an average coach and they aren't terribly successful like a Duke, Kansas etc..

Craig Victor having little offensive impact on the game surprises me.

For some reason he has been playing soft. That is one of the reasons they are not in the championship game.
