Official Advice thread for Bama fans coming to NO.

I haven't seen one so I thought I'd start a PSA. Bama fans, the NOPD are a fun loving lot and love to joke around; particulary the ones on horseback. They fancy themselves as some kind of modern day cowboys. When one rides by you, give his horse a good slap on the arse. And when one tells you to move, stand your ground, hold up your drink and say something like, "You make me, partner." They love that.

It is a tradition to walk around Bourbon St. with your tickets to the game in your hand and drink so much you pass out in the street holding your tickets. The tickets let others know not to mess with you.

Please accept my apology on behalf of the Rant. No one here has mentioned the quality restaurants New Orleans has to offer. So here we go.
1) Any restaurant in the Westbank, New Orleans East and St John's Parish.
2) Any and all Dot's Diner
3) Tiffin Inn located in Metairie.
4) Websters--also in Metairie.
5) Taqueria Sanchez in Kenner (for the Spanish fans)
Dress in Bama gear and they will insisit you don't tip. We love our guest.

I wonder which school gets arrested more Bama or LSU for the game? I say Bama cause we are going to up all night Jan9 and early Jan10 and being real obnoxious everywhere we go doing Rammer Jammer.
