Miss State after Bama

I will go ahead and say it right now so we can get this BS out of the way. Miss State after Bama is definitely a trap game. LOL . All kidding aside, Im one of the older coots on here so I remember John Bond taking us to the wood shed and whipping us all 4 years that he was at State with the famous Emory Bellard option. 1 of those 4 years , we had a darn strong football team and then Orlando Lundy took care of us with their famed option after Arnsparger's team had beat Mike Shula and Co. at Legion field. I really dont like playing MSU after Bama. May be ESPN will want a Thursday night opener and move us to the beginning of the season.

yeah they should swap the A&M and state game. i was kinda hoping we could end the season with A&M instead of arky. i hate playing arky on a rivalry weekend.

Looks like they already have South Carolina @ Vandy for the opening Thursday night matchup.

That wouldnt be a bad idea either as I believe we would be a lot more intense in playing A&M at that particular time.

Didnt know that , Oh well if they already have USC (e) and Vandy in that opener , there goes my hope . As stated , I have seen us have way too much trouble with the Dawgs after Bama. Heck took us a half to get cranking this year after Bama against WKU. Now I realize they were bowl and eligible at 7 and 5 but that State game after Bama brings back bad memories to me. At least it will be at home, the times that they ruined our seasons , the games were at Starkville after we had just beat Bama at legion Field.
