Smoked Meatloaf

I've never been fond of meatloaf, and someone told me the other day I should make some Smoked BBQ Meatloaf. I'm thinking about mixing fresh ground chuck with ground Boston Butt, then using my rub to season outer edges. Does anyone have a great recipe for a traditional meatloaf to incorporate into this experiment?

I like alton brown's meatloaf. You can google Alton Brown meatloaf for the recipe. I also put parchment paper under the meatloaf while it is smoking so that the meatloaf doesn't sink into the grates too much. The parchment paper still allows for a smoke ring even on the bottom.
I've never mixed pork into my meatloaf, but don't see any harm in doing so. I smoked my meatloaf at around 325 until it registered 155 degrees in the middle over hickory.

I loved smoked meatloaf. I also love to smoke a fattie (smoked roll of sausage) LINK.
