When you compared the scopes where they in a store?
I compared the Zeiss and Nikon this afternoon in the field.

Oh and just to throw it out there...... Schmidt & Bender is better than all of them.
A quick look on Optics Planet says not in my price range... I'm willing to spend the 1000-1100 that the Swarovski will cost, but the 3-12x50 S&B looks to be about 2500. Ha, maybe next time.

yeh, i wasn't suggest you buying the schmidt..... just was stating they were better than all of them. They never seem to get mentioned in these threads.
Get the Swarovski man.... the quality you get is superb. Plus, not sure if they still do it, but if you have a problem with one of their scopes and have to send it back they may send you one as a loner until yours is fixed. Oh and if you want the best binocs hands down on the planet take a look at their 10x40 ELs
