Obviously you don't remember the awful performance by JJ against Penn State in the Cap One bowl.

On a field that had just seen a torrential downpour and was a sewer.
His two bowl performances in a dome/indoor stadium have been lights out.

Sorry to burst your bubble but he threw for 202 yards and a TD. Completed 54% of his passes (not that great but there were a lot of dropped passes due to the sick ball) and threw an interception.
Not really "awful"
