On canal street. Had a blast. It was kind of like varsity with music and stuff during commercials but in a huge theater.
Did anyone else do this and are they doing it again this year?
If not, any suggestions on were to watch in nola if not in the superdome?

Loews Theater. I was there.

I don't think that theater is open.
Champions Square outside of the superdome will most likely have it.
Will be and awesome atmosphere out there.

I have no idea how we came across it. We went to NOLA without a plan and just walked up and there was a long arse line outside the building so we just got in it.
It was a good time.

Exactly how it happened for us as well

I watched it in a Theater too... Iraq. With a tent full of OU fans. We lost satellite reception in the 3rd QTR and convoyed to the next nearest combat outpost to see the 4th QTR. I'll watch the JAN 9, 2012 game in my living room :-)

I thought we had paid for a Helicopter to hover over the field & watch it from way up high back in 2003.
Then I realized we were just way the f*ck up there in the Dome.

This...
I was there. It was a great time. I sat in the theater seats but if I remember correctly they had tables set up in the pit with a bar.
ETA: State Palace and Loews are the same place... LINK

We sat in the seats as well. It was like being at a game. People were throwing cups and popcorn in the air. Before the game we watched Indianapolis whip someone. Can't remember who. It was 95% lsu in there and I'm pretty surre most were students.

Did they pass out glow-sticks & pacifiers before the game?
I never went to a Rave at the State Palace, but I have been in there afterwards once. Definitely an interesting experience.

that was the loudest envirnment I've ever been in. I could feel the organs vibrating in my body when LSU scored, that place was shaking.
