I would think it would depend on where Smart goes. If he goes to a non AQ or 2nd tier BCS school like OM he would certainly leave for Bama, but if he's at a bigger school doing well, who knows? It makes a lot of sense, most of the guys Alabama hired after Bryant had Bama ties, that he'd be high on the list of replacements.

Saban to Texas, then after 5 yrs., to the NFL one more time.

He stays there for five more years and retires. He spends one year at ESPN and then takes over the New England Patriots after the hoodie retires.
